Think back.....It's the day of your elementary school field day, a day of sack races,
bean bag toss, dunking booths and good ole wholesome fun. Who wouldn't want to
recreate the victory of a three-legged race or hula-hoop their way to ultimate popularity?
Well imagine no more!

The Young Leaders Society of United Way of Central Virginia will be hosting the
Field Day Olypmics, where all ages can relive or experience for the first time, the joy
and pain of crabwalking!  So grab your friends and family and join us after the Riverfront
Challenge for a day of silly competition for a great cause!

A $5 donation will allow you to participate in as many of the Field Day events as you'd like, 

and the money will stay right here in Central Virginia.

Since 1992 a dedicated group of restaurant owners, managers, food representatives and
volunteers have been doing what they do best: cooking and serving food--for the purpose of
helping others who are food in secure in our region.  Since 1992, they have raised over
$241,000 in their efforts to fight hunger!
Your ticket purchase allows you tastings and samplings from over 30 local restuarants as
well as beer and wine from local distributors.  100% of the proceeds from the event go to
suport 3 local hunger relief efforts in our area:
Central Virginia Area Agency on Aging
Piedmont Community Impact Organization
Rivermont Area Emergency Food Pantry

KHF 93.7 will be location, broadcasting LIVE!

NOW is the time for you to sign up for volunteers for those projects that you don't  have the time or man power to get completed throughout the year!

Go to One For Another and enter your projects, to be completed on May 22nd-Day of Caring-the areas largest one-day volunteer experience!
