Gen. David Young

Biography

Serves as Dean of the School of Aeronautics at Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia. Additionally, Mr. Young oversees Falwell Aviation, Inc., a subsidiary of Liberty University.
Before joining the Administration of Liberty University in July 1997, Mr. Young served as a Brigadier General in the United States Air Force.
During his distinguished 29-year career, Mr. Young held several executive level command positions; served as a faculty member of the Air War College in the Department of Leadership; and held staff positions at the Pentagon, the Air Force Personnel Center, and the U.S. Forces Command.
Mr. Young holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Virginia Polytechnic Institute, a Master of Arts in Management and Supervision/Administration from Central Michigan University.
Mr. Young is from Hanover, Virginia, and his wife Ginny, a graduate of Radford College, is from Ashland, Virginia. They have two sons, Michael and Christopher.
