John Bruce

Biography: 

Founding partner and the President of Flippin, Bruce & Porter, Inc., a registered investment adviser.
From 1979 until 1985 he served as a Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Capitoline Investment
Services, Inc., a subsidiary of United Virginia Banks.
A Chartered Financial Analyst and a Chartered Investment Counselor, Mr. Bruce holds a B.S. degree
in Finance from Virginia Polytechnic Institue and State University and is a former trustee of the Virginia
Tech Foundation.
A Trustee and former Chairman of the Williamsburg Investment Trust, which oversees management of
ten mutual funds, including the Flippin, Bruce & Porter Funds.
