Attend the Matching Breakfast

The breakfast offers you an opportunity to meet the agency representative handling the project(s) you’ve chosen and to discuss the items listed in the Plan for Your Projects section of this guide. It’s also a great way to start a crisp May morning. United Way will take care of the food while you take care of project details.

The Matching Breakfast makes it easy for company team captains and agency project leaders to discuss project details. The Matching Breakfast will be at Neighbors Place on May 2, 2008 from 7:30-9:30am.

If you have any questions about the agency or the project, the Matching Breakfast is the right time to ask those questions! To make this event most efficient, please bring enough team captains to be able to meet with different agency project leaders at the same time, especially if you are a larger company and have signed up for multiple projects. That being said, if you have signed up for 60 projects, please do not bring 60 different team captains because we will not be able to accommodate everyone else that needs to attend.

Remember to bring a copy of the projects you have signed up for so you know with whom you need to speak, and make sure you schedule a site visit prior to DOC. This will help when thinking about materials, tools, etc.

If you are unable to attend the breakfast, it is imperative that you touch base with the agency contact for your project well in advance of DOC and plan on a site visit to the project location.
